HOW DO I CHECK THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS?

Computer memory/ram check HOWTO

Right-click on the “MY COMPUTER” icon on your desktop.

A drop-down menu appears.

At the bottom of the GENERAL tab, you will see the memory/ram your pc has.

Computer operating system check HOWTO

Computer network card check HOWTO

Look at the back of the computer case/box.

You are looking for a rectangular hole that looks like it can take a telephone jack, only larger.

Telkom ADSL landline conversion HOWTO

If your line is prepaid, please call 10219, to apply for an account.

You also call 10219, to have your line converted to an ADSL line.

The Telkom line rental you are paying now will fall away, and an ADSL line rental will come into play.

You only need 1 line, as with ADSL you can talk and surf at the same time!

What is WiFi?

A laptop usually has wireless networking capability, often called WiFi for short.

This allows you to connect to the ADSL modem from another room without any wires being required.
